The Common Good Cyber Workshop, scheduled to take place in Washington D.C. on February 26-27, is honored to welcome Kiersten Todt to lead the first panel of the workshop: Illustration of the Problem.
About Kiersten Todt
Currently serving as the CEO and Managing Partner of Liberty Group Ventures, Kiersten Todt has played a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of cybersecurity. Her previous position as the Chief of Staff at the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) underscores her exceptional leadership skills. In this capacity, she spearheaded the planning, resource allocation, and development of long-range objectives, contributing significantly to the department’s overarching goals and milestones.
Prior to her role at CISA, Kiersten served as the Managing Director of the Cyber Readiness Institute (CRI), a non-profit initiative that she co-founded in 2017 focused on helping small and medium-sized enterprises become more cyber-secure. Her visionary leadership in establishing this initiative alongside CEOs from Mastercard, Microsoft, PSP Partners, and the retired CEO of IBM highlights her commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation in the cybersecurity domain making her an ideal moderator for our Illustrations Panel.
‘Illustration of the Problem’ Panel
This first panel aims to make the case for the critical importance of addressing funding challenges in the realm of cybersecurity. By bringing together diverse perspectives from representatives of various communities, the panel seeks to create a shared understanding of the issues’ magnitude and significance, initiating meaningful conversations that pave the way for building collaborative solutions that transcend traditional boundaries.
