Stand with the Common Good Cyber Fund by Signing the Supporter Statement

The Common Good Cyber Fund was created to meet an urgent global need: sustaining nonprofit organizations that deliver core cybersecurity services that protect high risk actors and the Internet infrastructure as a whole. These organizations protect the most vulnerable among us, yet they are often underfunded and overstretched.

International leaders have recognized the importance of this work. In June 2025, Canada and the UK jointly committed to investing in the Fund, with G7 leaders highlighting its role in countering transnational repression. But governments can’t do it alone. Civil society, industry, and philanthropies around the world must also step up.

We recognize that many organizations and governments support the mission of the Fund, but may not be able to invest financially. One meaningful way to contribute is to pledge non-financial support.

As advocates of the Common Good Cyber Fund, organizations can strengthen the global cybersecurity ecosystem by pledging to support our mission in tangible ways, including (but not limited to):

  • Share relevant intelligence and volunteer technical expertise with nonprofits sustaining cybersecurity infrastructure and delivering direct assistance to high-risk actors;
  • Establish or support local cybersecurity hubs and programs that help secure and accelerate deployment of solutions to high-risk actors;
  • Facilitate introductions to regional, national, or local entities that can enable stronger protection and faster response for civil society actors;
  • Offer strategic communications support to raise the visibility and credibility of nonprofit cybersecurity organizations;
  • Make secure-by-design infrastructure, services, or facilities available to the nonprofit sector.

These are examples of concrete, practical ways to stand alongside those defending civil society, without financial contribution. By pledging support, you help ensure that vulnerable communities can operate safely, securely, and effectively in the digital age.

Sign the Supporter Statement today to show your commitment and join a global movement to strengthen cybersecurity for the public good.

The list of signatories will be revealed on October 29, 2025, at the Paris Peace Forum, where Common Good Cyber is a featured project
